世界上到底有多少可用能源(Energy available on earth)

這是我每次開再生能源概論和能源通識課程時，必須回答自己和學生的大哉問之一
目前我找到的答案如下（單位是10的12次方瓦特):

太陽能（Solar) 174000
地熱(Geothermal) 32
潮汐(Tidal) 3
光合作用(Photosynthesis) 　　　　　　　　　　　 40
風，波浪，對流和洋流（Winds, waves convection and currents）　　370
化石燃料蘊藏(以煤為主)(Fossil fuel reserves (mainly coal)) ≈ 2000

作者也以2001年時全球的人均初級能源消耗為2.1 kW per capita，估計當時的全球能耗為12.7個10的12次方瓦特
